Your Host

Selma Sondern is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Intellectual History. Coming from a background in Business Studies, she studied Global Social and Political Thought and Intellectual History at the University of St Andrews before starting her PhD under the supervision of Prof. Richard Whatmore and Prof. Riccardo Bavaj.

Her research focusses on twentieth century Germany, totalitarianism and ideology. She is currently working on a biography of Margarete Buber-Neumann.
