Kelsey Jackson Williams is a lecturer in early modern literature at the University of Stirling, where he studies the intellectual, literary, and material cultures of early modern northern Europe, particularly Scotland. His latest book is entitled The First Scottish Enlightenment: Rebels, Priests, and History (OUP, 2020).
