Welcome to the electronic edition of James Mill's Common Place Books, edited by Robert A. Fenn and published by the Centre for Intellectual History, University of Sussex in conjunction with the London Library. This online resource — currently comprising four of Mill's five common place books — is now available to browse.

The project is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
